This year's season of tournaments in the u-25.9 selection also started on Sunday, September 12. On the first Sunday, only team no. 2, but both teams will compete in the next u-12 tournaments.

This season, Olimpija is represented by two u-12 teams. Coach Aljaž Novak has put together two equal teams, each of which will compete in their own tournaments.

Here it was the turn of team no. 2, which performed in Zalog. Teams from Ferlach and local Slavija also took part in the tournament.

For many young hockey players, this was the first real game on the entire field. Results are not recorded in such tournaments and are not important. What is important is the experience that the players gain through such matches, as well as the enthusiasm and joy for the game of hockey. These, according to the head coach Aljaž Novak, was not missing today, which means that the tournament was successfully completed.

The young hockey players now have a few more training sessions, followed by a new series of tournaments. It will be their turn on October 9, when one team will go to Celje and the other to Maribor.
