On Saturday, December 28, the last matches of this year (in the calendar year) in the national cadet championship (u-17) were on the schedule. The dragons went to Kranj.

This season, the people of Kranj are more in the lower half of the championship standings, and so the role of favorites went to our hockey players. They more than justified the role. It's already in the 4th minute Alex Kepic took the dragons into the lead and our team did not let go of that lead until the end of the match. What’s more, she scored quite a few more goals, but on the other hand she is Lan Kavčič kept his net completely intact. Doubts about the winner were more or less dispelled in the 10th minute when both Nick Sechen in Jan Lan Matija scored two quick goals with which our dragons escaped already at 3: 0. Finally, the home boat was sunk in the 36th minute, when two new quick goals by the Dragons followed. They were shooters Karlo Marinkovic in Mauro Zupanič. In the last third we then saw 3 more of our hits (2x was successful Jan Petelinkar, but 1x Karlo Marinkovic), so the match ended with a score of 8: 0 for Olympia.
In the derby of the round, Slavija defeated KAC 4: 0, thus escaping the pursuers in 1st place. Olympia, however, remains in 3rd place. Zagreb beat Celje 8: 1, and the match between VSV and Jeseničani was not over at the time of writing.
Our matches continue on Saturday, January 4, when the KAC team arrives in Tivoli.
