Dear club members, parents and everyone with a green heart,

this year 2020 will be remembered for the virus that deprived us of many things and took away everyone’s favorite side thing, ice hockey. The match we are fighting with the invisible enemy will be won because of our intransigence and collective spirit, which we cultivate as members of HK SŽ Olimpija and adorns all our members.

The virus took away our workouts in the spring months, so we at the club adjusted to the amount of the monthly installment of the annual workout.

Also in November and December, they limited our socializing, so we have prepared a long-distance training, daily contact of coaches with players, and for the youngest some video presentations and demonstrations of training and skills of proper hockey equipment.

Our hockey friend and advisor, coach Kari Savolainen, told Santa the wishes of the youngest, as they both come from Finland and are almost neighbors. Maybe he'll bring some kind of gift and banish the virus so we can start training on the ice in January.

In the club, we also looked for a compromise for the installment of the annual training fee for the months of November and December and decided with the decision of the Board of Directors that half the training fee should be charged for each month when group training was prohibited due to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
