On Sunday, September 25.9, it was the turn of the second match of our juniors. After the first round, a slightly more difficult task awaited them this time. They went to visit Kranj. The people of Kranj, like our hockey players, recorded a victory in the first round, which means that we could expect a good and difficult match.

Our team started the match well, but after a small mistake in our defense, the home team took advantage of their opportunity in front of our goal and took a 4:1 lead in the 0th minute. But our team continued with their game and the tie soon followed. It's in the 7th minute Lev Lesar fired a shot from the blue line and then pushed the rebound into the net Luka Bankek. 1:1 was also the result of the first period.

Our superiority in shots on home goal only increased a little in the second period. At the end of the third, ours scored another goal. Again we had a couple of consecutive shots and the deflection of one of those shots was then skilfully pushed into the goal in the 36th minute Ian Petronijevic Lepsa. 2:1 was also the final score of the second period.

Our team continued with a similar game in the last third. Thus, they were able to control the match fairly well. It was even easier after the 46th minute, when they combined in attack Martin Vahen in Nick Sechen. The first passed and the second scored. In the playoffs, the home team had to try without a goalkeeper, which our team took advantage of to score the last goal. He was the shooter again Nick Sechen.

In the remaining matches, Slavia won 5:1 in Belgrade, while Jeseničani beat Maribor 4:1. With two wins each, Olimpija and Jesenice are at the top of the championship standings, and they will compete in the round derby next Sunday. The match will be held in Jesenice.
