On Sunday, September 19, the initial weekend of the league competitions of the youngest selections continued. It was the turn of the boys' selection (U-15), and the guests were players from Celje.

Otherwise, the Celje team also includes some younger Olimpija players with a double license, so the match was interesting in this respect as well.

Our young dragons started off resolutely. He scored for 1: 0 in the first minute Tom Smolnikar. The same player soon scored for the second time and with a quick 2-0 lead, it seemed that the match would go in the direction our team wanted. But at this point, the guests have not yet surrendered. They successfully calmed the game, then scored in the 8th minute to reduce it to 2: 1. Our team was still better in the field, but the result was close and remained so for quite some time. But by the end of the third, the result did not remain intact. He scored in the last minute of the third Svit Ravnik and ours still went to the first break with a slightly higher advantage.

But in the second third, things quickly became clear. He scored again in the first minute of the second half Tom Smolnikar and the match was somehow already decided. The advantage of ours gradually increased. The end of the second third ended with a score of 8: 1 for ours, and the match ended with a score of 12: 3.

In the remaining matches, Jeseničani beat Slavija 7: 3, Triglav was 5: 4 better than KAC, HKMK Bled beat HDD Bled 10: 1, and EC VSV beat Maribor 9: 3.

But our young dragons will not have much rest. The championship continues on Thursday. Our boys are traveling to Jesenice.
